After presenting my presentation to the class I have made some decisions and changes to my proposal based on the feedback that I received:
- Firstly, Based on feedback I have decided to call my magazine BLISS as out of the 4 other potential names this was the most popular amongst the audience.
- Based on Audience feedback, the last font shown on the slide was the most popular therefore, I will attempt to create something similar to this for my masthead.
- The most popular colour scheme was the one that consisted of blues and black however I have decided to slightly change this and use the colours dark blue, black and white because I think this is a more suitable colour scheme for my target audience. Also, the colours I previously chose were slightly more professional than I would like them to be for a music magazine.
- I was told by my audience that I should bring out the pop element of my magazine more so I will do this by:
- My magazine will be slightly more vibrant colour wise and article wise than a regular R&B magazine would be as Pop is mainly targeted at a younger audience therefore this would attract that audience more and would bring out that Pop element more.
- As instructed by my audience whilst presenting my magazine proposal, I was told that I should have a look at some Pop magazines in order to be able to relate to these more. I looked at a magazine called Billboard as I think this is the type of magazine I intend to be slightly similar to as it contains elements of Pop and R&B.
- I have Also decided to change my target audience to 16-25 as I feel that this will fit my target audience better and my original target audience of 13-25 is too big of a gap so I have narrowed it down based on the feedback recieved.
